All private lessons are customized to help you achieve your musical goals. Fundamentals are always a focus along with reading, learning songs, musicality, and performing in the real world. If you are serious about having fun and becoming a better musician:

• Think about and write down your musical goal(s).

• Make time to practice - 30 minutes or more per day is is recommended. Regular practice equates to more fun!

• Be willing to walk before you run. Fundamentals are very important!

• Have an open mind to explore and study genres of music outside of your wheel house.

• Find musicians you can "jam" with outside of lessons. Playing with other live musicians is key to applying what you learn. Plus, it's a lot of fun!
